I am a VFX compositor with a passion for the creative arts and film. Originally from Australia I currently reside in Vancouver, Canada on a Permanent Residency Visa.
I have 7+ years experience working in Visual Effects for high end feature film and TV series, having worked for companies such as DNEG, Industrial Light & Magic, Sony Pictures Imageworks and ScanlineVFX.
Some of the core competencies I have developed throughout my career include matte extraction, blue/green-screen keying, colour correction, deep compositing, face replacement, wire & rig removal, roto, image cleanup, morphs/transitions, compositing Full CG shots, set extension, balancing and integrating 2D & 3D elements, particles and FX. I have also had experience doing doing look dev for sequences and creating setups to pass to other artists.
I am a highly motivated individual dedicated to self-improvement and constant growth and learning. I thoroughly enjoy a challenge and thrive under pressure. Important skills I have developed that allow me to succeed include the ability to communicate effectively and concisely, ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner, not been afraid to ask questions when necessary and developing a keen eye for detail.
